Context
After multiple collaborations with Nubbi throughout my modeling and stylist career including during Paris Fashion Week shows. The brand's founder invited me to conceive and direct the visual identity of its first e-shop, created for the launch of the website.
About
This series develops a visual language rooted in anonymity and the uncanny. Hybrid silhouettes wearing handmade silver helmets with human-like traces inhabit the space between object and body. Stripped of identity, these forms allow the viewer to project themselves into the garments without distraction. The absence of recognizable models shifts the focus: the clothing becomes the subject, and the body becomes a possibility rather than a prescription. The silhouettes evolve through subtle variations of shape and posture, suggesting presence without defining it. They animate the pieces while preserving a distance; an open field for interpretation. Tights stretched across their faces compress and distort their features, producing uneasy, almost suffocated expressions. This deliberate discomfort questions the fashion industry's attachment to idealized, marketable identities, and exposes the tension between visibility and erasure.
Creative search
The project translates Nubbi's values—eco-conscious materials, gender-neutral design, and adjustable universal sizing into a minimal yet critical visual system. By removing individuality, the images propose a more inclusive and fluid relationship between garment and wearer. What remains is not a model, but a space: one where identity is not imposed.
