About
A maximalist floral explosion in deliberate contrast with a global aesthetic that favors neutrality and restraint. At the heart stands a Black muse embodied as a white orchid in bloom, inhabiting hand-painted, saturated environments that evoke an afro-futurist aesthetic, both timeless and out of time.
Context
This project originated in a conversation with my grandmother in her flower garden, shortly before she left her home due to Alzheimer's disease. It stands as an homage to her, and my first deeply personal creative project.
Creative search
After multiple collaborations with Nubbi throughout my modeling and stylist career including during Paris Fashion Week shows. The brand's founder invited me to conceive and direct the visual identity of its first e-shop, created for the launch of the website.
