Context
This work was developed in collaboration with hip-hop dancer Gisèle Etoa, a close collaborator, who sought visual content for her social platforms. She offered complete creative freedom, allowing the project to unfold as an open exploration of movement, image, and visual storytelling.
About
This Editorial brings the language of the dancer's body to the forefront. Set within an ancient hotel at dusk, it uses hard, directional lighting to reveal only fragments of the scene, shaping an atmosphere that oscillates between enigma and omniscience.
The subject appears as an almost intangible presence: an entity moving alone through an empty ballroom, suspended in a quiet, melancholic tension. With minimal light and mouvement, even shadows and stillness become narrative elements, carrying as much meaning as the body itself.
