The material choice was made in response to the visual environment, the texture of the fabric in conversation with the textures produced by sound itself. The garment had to function as an extension of the artist’s practice: sculpted for and by the performer, never detaching from the world it inhabits.

Invited to develop the styling direction for Airmow’s visual project “Maze Escape,” I worked in close collaboration with the Brand Designer Nubbi, who constructed the garments according to my directives and translating the concept into physical pieces that serve both the performance and the image.
